Circle View School is in the process of electing members to the School Site Council (SSC) for the 2022-23 school year. The SSC annually reviews and updates the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) including proposed expenditure of funds allocated to the school through the Consolidated Application. The SSC must develop, approve the plan, recommend it to the local governing board for approval, monitor its implementation, and evaluate the effectiveness of the planned activities at least annually.
Members of the SSC include the principal, 3 classroom teachers, 1 other school staff, and 5 parents. Members of the SSC are nominated and elected by their peers, therefore, parents are nominated and elected by parents. A member serves a two year term.
Nominations for parent representatives on the SSC have been received. This year, Circle View needs to elect four parents to the SSC. Please vote for four candidates below. Voting closes September 23, 2022. Thank you!
