Welcome to the sign-up for the Manchester Hip Hop Archive collection-led workshops at Manchester Central Library! An opportunity open to all young people aged 11-16 from across Greater Manchester, who want to learn Hip Hop skills or simply, improve and showcase the skills they already have.

Launching on Saturday March 11th, 2023, and running throughout the whole of March and April, the Manchester Hip Hop Archive team alongside local Hip Hop Breaking, Fashion, Graffiti and Music industry pioneers, will be delivering our very first Hip Hop Heritage inspired workshop programme.

Early sessions will explore local Hip Hop heritage through the collections objects, images, and audio, before breaking out into groups and weekly focus sessions, to work on chosen areas of interest, where ideas & passion, will be turned into new and exciting works with opportunity to showcase amongst the Hip Hop community at Street Heat Festival, Ancoats, Bank Holiday April 29 & 30, 2023.
