Dear Edison Community,

We are looking forward to hosting our first annual Edison Career Day this spring! The date for this event will be Thursday, May 30th, 2024. We need your help! 

We are looking for volunteers to visit our school to share their knowledge and experience about their career. We are hoping for representation from ALL professions-- police officers, chefs, accountants, store managers, bank tellers, nurses, military, welders, electricians, construction… we want you all! 

What do we need from you? You will meet with various classrooms of students from kindergarten through 5th grade. Each session will last for about 30 minutes. You can share your expertise in your field, talk about what it takes to be successful in your career, and answer student questions. You may bring tools or any additional interesting materials you think the students may enjoy.
