Murray Shooting Experience
An activity that has been discussed off and on the past few years as part of the AGM in Denver is a visit to a local shooting range and “using a cordless hole punch” to blow off some steam.

We Coloradans would hope you come and spend some time in our beautiful state outside the AGM schedule, and this offers one unique alternative while in Denver for early arrivals.

Michael Thomas, the Clan’s U.S. Genealogist, is a certified NRA Range Safety Officer and Home Firearms Safety instructor, and is coordinating the event. He will provide just about everything that is needed - headphones/earplugs, safety glasses, targets, ammo and, yes, even the guns. A $10 per person guest fee (the normal fee for the range) is all that is required from the shooters.

The emphasis will be on safety, but we also intend to have some fun. A variety of hand-guns and a couple small caliber rifles will be available to shoot. You can shoot any, or all, of the guns as you desire and time allows.

At the end of the event, all brass will be swept up and collected for reloading, and the range will be returned to the condition we found it. You should note the travel time to and from the event is included, still giving the group an hour and a half to shoot. Carpooling is the most efficient way to transport shooters.
