Parents and carers - Your experiences of supporting your child while school is closed
The closure of schools has meant that all of us have had to make big changes to our lives in a very short space of time. Thank you so much for all of the work you have done to support your child so far. We hope that you have had clear guidance in the last few weeks about what support the school is offering to help your child keep learning and, most importantly, stay engaged with the school community. Going forward, we want our decisions about students continuing to learn while school remains closed to be informed by your feedback and experiences so far. Please take a few minutes to fill in this survey, so we can review and update our provision as effectively as possible. Your answers will remain strictly confidential.

Thank you for your responses. We recognise that families are adapting to major changes in many areas of life at the moment, and that providing lots of online learning activities is helpful to many families. We are also aware that there is the potential for increased stress and anxiety around how much learning should be achieved, under what may be challenging individual circumstances. Please continue to do what you can to support your child, within reasonable limits. Please encourage your children not to worry about 'completing' everything that is set. Teachers are learning too at this time about how much and what type of work is appropriate. We want to keep our school community as closely connected and supportive as possible at this time, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have further questions or concerns.
