Mini-course on Research Ethics
This asynchronous, self-paced, online mini-course on research ethics covers basic ethical principles essential for academics; provides guidance in applying for ethical clearance; engages with policy, plagiarism, and publishing. The course will be offered on Blackboard and starts on 15 February to 15 November 2022.

It is critical that all researchers are aware of the ethical implication of their work and the work of their students. In all fields of study there are ethical imperatives to take into account. While this course provides a basic introduction to research ethics and integrity, it also raises some of the dilemmas and interesting complexities in research.

The total time commitment for this course is 6 - 8 hours.
