ABOUT WORKSHOPS AT 826LA
Our mission for Weekday Workshops is to build community while supporting students in exploring new and creative ways to use writing to discover themselves, practice self-care, hone their storytelling skills, support college access, and apply their critical thinking skills. The goal is to redefine student's relationship to writing so that is can be seen as a fun and useful tool, rather than an academic chore.

We are offering three workshop series for SPRING: JOURNALISM, WEEKDAY WORKSHOPS & 826LA @ the HAMMER.

ACERCA DE LOS TALLERES EN 826LA
Nuestra misión para los talleres es construir una comunidad mientras apoyamos a los estudiantes en la exploración de formas nuevas y creativas de usar la escritura para descubrirse a sí mismos, practicar el cuidado personal, perfeccionar sus habilidades para contar historias, apoyar el acceso a la universidad y aplicar sus habilidades STEM. El objetivo es redefinir la relación del estudiante con la escritura para que pueda verse como una herramienta divertida y útil, en lugar de una tarea académica.

Estamos ofreciendo tres series de talleres para PRIMAVERA: PERIODISMO, TALLERES DE DÍA DE SEMANA Y 826LA @ the HAMMER.
