VATFACS Distinguished Service Award 2020
Purpose:  The purpose of this award is to recognize teachers who have made contributions to the improvement, promotion, development, and progress of Family and Consumer Sciences education on the local, state, and national levels during their careers.  The individual may still be teaching or recently retired.  Individuals who have received special recognition as teachers, who have held key state and/or national offices or committee appointments, or have made any other significant contribution to the field of Family and Consumer Sciences education will be considered for this award.  VATFACS will honor nominees at the annual state VATFACS Professional Development Institute in August.  

Nomination applications must be submitted electronically by April 15th.
