ALL students will study the Core subjects below.
Students choose 3 Elective subjects

Core Subjects
English, Irish (an alternative short course subject may be added for those who are exempt), Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, C.S.P.E.,


Well-Being Subjects
*Religious Education, *Physical Education, *S.P.H.E.  Guidance*, Philosophy*
*Denotes not for State Examinations

Elective Subjects
Each pupil must choose one subject from each of the option groups A, B & C below. One subject must be chosen from each of Options A, B & C. Please tick the box opposite the chosen subject.

Change of Mind
In certain cases, students may change their mind at a later stage if they are not enjoying a subject. Obviously, it is preferable that students carefully consider their choices now to avoid this disruption at a later stage.

Option A: Language Option
In the case of language exemptions, we encourage students to attempt a language due to its high oral and aural content. If this is not suitable, we endeavour to run another subject at this time if numbers are sufficient.
