Repetitions & Performances
DynamiQ Voices holds weekly repetitions on Monday evenings (20.00 - 22.00) at ZIMIHC Wittevrouwen in Utrecht. Next to this our estimate is to have about 3-4 performances per year. These performances could fall in holiday periods (for example if we manage to perform during Amsterdam Pride), but can also take place abroad (Various Voices 2023, Bologna, the European LGBT choir festival).
Can you be present during weekly repetitions? *
Are you prepared to make the effort to be present at all performances? (Of course exceptions are possible.) *
Have you sung in a choir / vocal group before? *
If yes, in which voice group did you sing? Multiple answers possible. (Also if you never sang in a choir but know which voice group you'd fit in, please answer as well.)
We want to emphasize that although voice groups are part of singing in a choir, any gender can sing in any voice group, it only depends on where your voice range fits best and what feels most comfortable. If this means you have to change voice group over time, that's totally fine :)
Contribution
The monthly contribution for DynamiQ Voices will be €27,50 and will be used for personnel costs (choir director), the music, any material costs, the rent of the repetition location. There will also be a one time 'signing up' fee of €12.50 which will also go towards paying the above mentioned costs of the choir. We aim for it to get lower asap (once funds are applied to) but consider that for the first year it will most likely stay the above.
