Study of Vehicle Rearward Visibility for Motorcycle Safety in Malaysia and Indonesia

This survey is part of a project collaboration between New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Haluoleo University (Indonesia), Indonesia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

Our team is gathering information to build our database in the effort to provide a safer (riding experiences) for motorcyclists in (Malaysia and Indonesia) region. This survey will be used solely to obtain description of rearward visibility blockage based on your personal driving experience.

This survey is divided into 5 sections:
(1) Driver's profile (9 questions).
(2) Rearward Visibility Blockage Side View Mirror (5 questions).
(3) Rearward Visibility Blockage Rear View Mirror (5 questions).
(4) Rearward Visibility Blockage Impact (4 questions).
(5) Rearward Visibility Technology (6 questions).
