This training program is organized by a consortium led by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) as part of the "Human Rights - Our Concern!" project, co-funded by the European Union. The consortium also includes Chapter Four Uganda and the African Institute for Investigative Journalism (AIIJ).
The project spans 14 districts across Uganda's four regions:
- Northern Cluster: Arua, Gulu, Kitgum, Otuke
- Eastern Cluster: Kotido, Kween, Mbale, Moroto
- Western Cluster: Kasese, Hoima, Kisoro
- Central Cluster: Wakiso & Kampala
It will be implemented over 28 months, from October 2023 to January 2026.
Participants will develop skills in human rights reporting, enabling them to conduct evidence-based advocacy and safeguard respect for human rights and freedoms in Uganda.
