LovisFrost is a Winter dance for differently-abled young people in Junior High and High School (up to age 22) with an Individualized Education Plan.

Where: Anderson Event Center, 7850 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati
When: Saturday, January 6 from 6:00-8:00 pm

This is a fun, disability-friendly evening with music, dancing, giveaways, games and food. Caregivers (limited to 2) are welcome to attend and participate in the fun, dancing and dinner.

This event includes the following:

unlimited pictures at the Photo Booth
food and drinks
lots of blinking bling to wear
a goody bag
dancing
a quiet area for those who get overstimulated
a really fun time!

Please sign up for anything you'd be interested in doing. Prior to the event, you'll receive a confirmation email detailing your volunteer assignment. *

Set-up / Tear-down Crew (arrive at 5:00 pm) Helps decorate and get everything set up for the event. Takes down decorations and cleans up when the event is finished.

Registration Check-in (arrive at 5:00 pm) Greets volunteers and confirms their assignment. Greets attendees and gives them their name badges.

Coat Check-In (arrive at 5:30 pm) Helps attendees with hanging up their coats and gives them a coat check number.

Dress Up Character (arrive at 5:30 pm) Dress up in costume and interact with attendees.

Greeters / Way-Finders (arrive at 5:30 pm) Greet attendees when they enter the venue and point the way to the registration, coat check and bathrooms. After everyone arrives, be available if someone looks lost.

Dining Area Helper (arrive at 5:30 pm) Assist caterer to set up and serve attendees. Assist with clean up at end of event.

Photographer / Videographer (arrive at 6:00 pm) Take photographs and videos that can be used in future marketing and help make attendees feel special.

Medical experience and able to aid in case of emergency (arrive at 6:00 pm) Be available in the event of an emergency to assist.

Dancer (arrive at 6:00 pm) Monitor the dance floor and invite attendees to dance with you.

Quiet area attendant (arrive at 6:00 pm) Assist in the quiet area as needed by attendees.
