Submission for Community WOW!
What is "Community WOW!" ? This is a project designed to showcase ImaginASL Performing Art's amazing community. ImaginASL's mission is to entertain, educate, and unite the Deaf and hearing worlds with rich unique artistic, cultural, and theatrical experiences full of American Sign Language. We do this through putting on stage performances, workshops, and other various community events. Yearly, ImaginASL hosts events to showcase the amazing abilities that those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing through American Sign Language, showing what is possible. Now it is time to turn the spotlight on the community.

Do you have a skill you are proud of? Is there something that comes naturally to you or you put a lot of work into? Do you want to show off your amazing kids and their fun skills? It could be acting, poetry, story telling, painting, art, miming, pretend play and/or any other form of expression of your talents. Why not share that with your community? The best way to build each other up is share our passions with each other and show off what is possible.

ImaginASL will be picking two people every month - either from the under 18 or over 18 categories, to showcase. These individuals will have a Community WOW! showcase spot on our website, monthly newsletter, and on Facebook/Instagram. Also, you do not have to be a resident of Colorado - as long as you are part of the ImaginASL community, you can show off what you got!

Requirements:
- All videos, pictures, and information must be appropriate for all ages (family friendly)
- Photos or a Video needs to be submitted showing off your works, products, or talents/abilities
- American Sign Language needs to be present in videos (all skill levels welcomed, voicing/sim com can accompany); please included closed captions if needed to supplement signing.
- A short description about yourself and what you are doing/showing
- Optional to provide information to link back to you or your work/products

If you have any questions, please contact secretary@imaginasl.org. Once your submission is received, you will get an e-mail in 2-3 business days that will request the media elements required to complete your submission.

All personal information shared will be not be shared outside of ImaginASL unless specified by the individual.
