Our current volunteer opportunities consist of educational events, yard maintenance, cage building, etc. Once we are fully licensed and our new facility meets inspections (hopefully by the spring!) then we will resume wildlife intakes and add animal care volunteer opportunities. We hope you will volunteer with us during this transition period and be a part of our re-launch team! We are excited to have you on our volunteer team!

I _____________________________(print name of volunteer) fully understand and acknowledge that:(a) risks and dangers exist in my participation as a volunteer at the Woodland Wonders; (b) my participation as a volunteer at the Woodland Wonders, interaction with any animals, and/or use of any equipment provided by the Woodland Wonders, may result in injury or illness including, but not limited to bodily injury, bites, scratches, disease, strains, fractures, partial and/or total paralysis, death or other ailments that could cause serious disability; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, employees, officers of agents of Woodland Wonders. I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibilities for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the owners, agents, officers, or employees of the Woodland Wonders or by another other person. I specifically understand that I am releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for the negligent acts or other conduct by the Woodland Wonders and its owners, agents, officers or employees. I hereby acquit, release, exonerate, and discharge the Woodland Wonders, its officers, directors, owners, employees, their successors, legal representatives and assigns from any amount of damages, including but not limited to medical expense, lost wages, pain and suffering and disability resulting directly or indirectly from bodily injury, personal injury, or property damage, that may be or is caused, suffered or incurred by me as a volunteer for the Woodland Wonders. I HAVE READ THE ABOVE WAIVER OR RELEASE AND BY SIGNING IT AGREE IT IS MY INTENTION TO EXEMPT AND RELIEVE THE WOODLAND WONDERS FROM LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL LIABILITY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR WRONGFUL DEATH CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION.
