Wiggins Memorial Library Academic Symposium Nomination Form
The 12th Annual Wiggins Memorial Library Academic Symposium will take place Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Faculty from all disciplines and campuses are invited to nominate students whose exemplary research or other work deserves recognition from the campus community.

Work worthy of nomination should:

Be among the best in its discipline or its course
Be completed in Spring 2021, Fall 2021, or Spring 2022
Provide a lens for attendees into the interesting parts of your discipline
Involve some degree of collaboration with a faculty mentor
Exhibit original inquiry, exploration, or creativity
Have IRB approval if the research involves human subjects

Nominations are due by Friday, February 11, 2022.

Due to space limitations, each nomination will undergo a blind review by the Student Research Committee and the library liaisons.  Submissions will be reviewed the week of February 14th and students will be notified of acceptance on Monday, February 21st.   Learn more about the nomination review process here: http://library.campbell.edu/symposium2022/nominate.

Faculty, please consult with your student nominee to draft a 100 word (or less) abstract of their project and provide it in the space below.  The abstract submitted in this form will be used during the selection process.  Students will have the opportunity to submit a final abstract, to be used in Symposium publications, upon acceptance.
