RSVP - DW on Water Security in the ME

Over the last months, a group of researchers formed a working group focusing on Water Security in the Middle East. This group was formed by a partnership between Israel Palestine Center for Regional Initiatives (IPCRI), the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, IEMED and Euromesco. Thus, it brings together researchers from Europe and the Middle East to examine trends related to water security in the region. This includes the current state of water, the nexus between water, energy and security, and trends relating to securitization and de-securitization of water.

While examining these trends, this group also aim at identifying policies relating to the role of the European Union in enabling and ensuring Water Security.

In this Dialogue Workshop, scheduled for October 24th in Jerusalem, we will present the chapters while presenting two case studies focusing on wastewater and sewage water treatments. The different presentations will be followed by an open discussion.

Please see attached invitation for the details schedule and the list of speakers.

As places are limited, please RSVP.
