This waiver covers the Rough Canyon Trail Runs and Rides (all categories) held October 8-9, 2022. I understand that running & mountain biking is a strenuous exercise and has some danger. I give statement that I am in good health and there is no medical reason that I should not attempt such a feat. I know that running and mountain biking on trails poses many hazards, not limited to falls, bad weather, getting lost, wild animal attack and generally dangerous conditions. I am entering this event with full knowledge that I could easily be hurt or face life threatening injuries. I fully assume all risks of injury, illness or death, and release covenant not to sue, and discharge City of Grand Junction, Bureau of Land Management- United States, Aravaipa Running LLC, USA Track & Field, the race director, volunteers, all sponsors, and any individuals or groups associated with this event, all actions, claims or demands for damages arising out of my participation in this event. The foregoing release is binding upon me personally, as well upon my heirs, executors, and administrators, and all members of my family, or anyone else who may make a claim on my behalf. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. I further grant my irrevocable permission to Aravaipa Running LLC, and its authorized agents, to use my name and any photographs, videos, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in this event. Unless otherwise stated, we will provide a 75% race credit on Ultrasignup or BikeReg towards a future Aravaipa Running or Rides event if notified in writing to
info@aravaiparunning.com 30 days out from the event. If notified 5 days prior to the event, a 50% race credit may be provided in case of injury or family emergency. No race credit will be issued within 4 days of the event or after the event. Credits will be good for one year from date of issuance. No cash refunds or transfers will be issued under any circumstance. Race shirts may only be picked up in person at packet pickup or on race day, we cannot mail out shirts to participants that do not attend the event. For relay teams, no refunds, transfers, rollovers, or credits will be provided for withdrawal. Team members may be changed as specified by each event. No selling of entries is permitted. No refunds or credits will be provided for dropping down in race distance. For merchandise, tent rentals, or other add-ons (but not including the standard shirt or equivalent goodie), we will provide a 100% future race credit for the cost of the merchandise, tent rental, or other add-on on ultra signup up until we order the items. After we place the order, we cannot provide any refunds or credits. No REFUNDS or TRANSFERS once the entry is accepted.
