****PLEASE READ CAREFULLY****

Thank you for your cooperation, and remember to "Get The Buck Out There!"
This TBA sponsored event is a 2 day, 2 night Campout at Deep Creek Campground, near Hesperia, CA for Veterans, Service Members, and their Guests (1-2 adult guests).  This is a PRIMITIVE CAMPOUT, meaning there will be no running water onsite, no electricity hookups, very limited cell & data service (plan accordingly to find the campsite), no convenience store within walking distance, no formal restrooms or showers onsite (please read more details below).  However, there are natural hot spring fed pools and a creek (both at the end of a ~1.9 mile hike, ~3.8 mile round trip).
The purpose of this event is to combat the transitional challenges that our Military, Veterans, and their Family members face by getting outdoors for personal growth, healing, camaraderie, and to have some fun.
TBA will be providing the campsites, campfire wood and items, 1-2 canopies at the campsites, water from a tank, and minimal cookware/kitchenware.  Attendees will be responsible for bringing and preparing their own food and beverages.  NOTE: Attendees with food/beverage allergies, medical accommodations, or other necessary assistance should inform TBA staff during the registration process.  Also, should attendees need camping gear, outdoor equipment, other items, or transportation to attend this event (we encourage carpooling, as there is limited parking space), please inform TBA staff during the registration process, and thank you for your cooperation.
Attendees are invited to participate in scheduled activities, venture out in smaller groups, lounge at the campsites, or otherwise (event and activities are subject to change based on weather conditions, vendor/host approval, individual’s abilities, etc…).  Space is limited, so all applicants are subject to approval (APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR STATUS BY EMAIL)…
If the Veteran and/or their guest(s) is experiencing COVID, flu, or any other contagious disease symptoms, then please do not attend the event, and inform TBA staff ASAP.
We request a $20 deposit to confirm an applicant’s registration (deposit is completely refundable in the events that you are not selected to attend, you withdraw your attendance at least 72 hours prior to the event start date or have an emergency and cannot attend, or after you attend the event, of course).  Each $20 deposit covers the Veteran attending as well as all of their guests.  The TBA Donation link information is below, where you can submit your deposit.
