Tuesday, June 27th at 8:30pm in the Twilight Room of the Allways Lounge, Comrade Crow and Cece Dynamite will be putting on the vacation bible school PAGEANT of your dreams. Got a religious kink? a deep love of Veggie Tales? unresolved trauma inflicted by the church? good old fashioned love of Christ (I guess)? Then this is the show for you!
We are currently seeking any and all burlesque, drag, sideshow, variety and/or performance art acts pertaining to any stories from the Bible; David and Goliath? HAWT. Samson and Delilah? Kinky. The Annunciation? Come Thru, Madonna. Acts can be something pre-existing or something bespoke that you create for CHURCH:CAMP!
The Twilight Room at the Allways has a large indoor stage with a small step up, modest light board, a projector (that's right, make us a short film. You could even do a powerpoint!) and can accommodate aerial rigging and/or free-standing poles. We want to see the campiest most extravagant bible-story re-telling your pious little brain can (immaculately) conceive of.

*edited to add: While men and women of the cloth are welcome to apply, please note we are looking for more campy and less holy acts. We want to see closeted camp counselor/youth pastor energy.
**Acts will be compensated with an even split of ticket sales and tips ($100 minimum guarantee). We are open to out of town performers but we cannot offer additional compensation for travel at this time.**
