Goals:
1. Social-emotional learning curriculum that teaches our students about each others' cultures and value in our community
2. Social-emotional learning curriculum facilitates the hard conversations students must have to become tomorrow's leaders
3. Books and media that reflect our diverse community be available at all schools
4. Parents of black students are invited to work in making our schools safe for their children
5. An equity committee is created to find out why our black students are being left behind - and fix it
6. Anti-bias and anti-racist curriculum for grades TK-8
7. Social studies curriculum that is culturally relevant and from a variety of perspectives - not just a white perspective
8. Counseling groups for black children to address intergenerational trauma
9. Mentoring and affinity groups for black students
10. Training & recruiting black professionals to be principals, teachers, nurses, counselors, and support staff
11. Anti-bias and anti-racist training for all staff in the district - with more training every year at a minimum
