Call for experts for a peer review for LIPOR, the intermunicipal waste management body of the Greater Porto area in Portugal

My city has a separate accounting for waste collection and management and our waste operations are mostly covered through the waste fees that households must pay (transparent, self-financing waste system)

I can explain my city’s waste accounting (what counts towards the costs and where the financing comes from)

I can explain about our Pay-As-You-Throw system and how citizens are encouraged to produce less rest waste

I am willing and available to participate in the peer review on 23 and 24 February 2022 as expert, either on-site or online

In order to comply with article 125 of regulation (EU) No 1303/2013 (Common Provisions Regulation), the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform is using the present survey to collect information for the purpose of preparing and implementing the expert support service of interregional onsite peer reviews. The data will be stored securely by the programme until the programme is officially closed. The results of this survey will be accessed by the Joint Secretariat (on behalf of the Managing Authority) and might also be shared with the evaluators of the programme and with auditors mandated by the Audit Authority of the programme to audit the programme and its projects. Rules of confidentiality and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also apply to the programme evaluators and auditors.
The survey is carried out by the consortium of experts contracted by the Interreg Europe programme for the implementation of the Policy Learning Platform.
