Spring-Ford Area School District Title IIA & IV Stakeholder Input 2023-2024
Under the Federal law, Every Student Succeeds Act, Spring-Ford receives annual allocations for Title IIA and Title IV.  Although allocations fluctuate from year to year, Spring-Ford receives approximately $130,000 for Title IIA and $30,000 for Title IV.

Title IIA provides opportunities for a wide range of activities to support the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school staff.  Title IIA fund must address the learning needs of all students, including children with disabilities, English Learners (ELs), and gifted and talented students.  As a stakeholder, we need your input for next year's spending plan.  Past practices have included training in the following areas: social emotional learning, technology integration, differentiation, teaching English Learners, understanding diversity, administrator training to improve leadership to support instruction, and transferring some funds to support Title I programs.  Transferability rules allow for Title II funds to be transferred to Title I.

Title IV provides opportunities to support well-rounded education opportunities, safe and healthy schools, and effective uses of technology. As a stakeholder, we need your input for next year's spending plan. Transferability rules allow for Title IV funds to be transferred to Title I & Title II.  Past practices have included transferring the Title IV allocation to Title I for student supports and to Title II to allow for more flexible spending opportunities related to professional development.
