The Music & Moore Booster Club is seeking volunteers to help with the numerous performing arts programs and activities in the district for the 2022-23 school year . If your child is involved in music and/or the performing arts, please consider singing up for one or more area below to help out.

We need your help! With your support we can continue to provide these amazing programs for our children.

There are numerous opportunities to volunteer across the district. Some require very little of your time! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about the volunteer positions. Thank you and looking forward to a great school year!

JCHS Volunteer Opportunities

Scholarship Committee- Each year JCHS awards scholarships to seniors. Volunteer role involves coordinating the application and evaluation process for scholarship applicants.

Pie Sale (co chair)- Seeking a parent (child is NOT a senior) to assist with this fundraiser who will commit for this year and next year.

Pie Sale Volunteer- Assist with coordinating the pie sale.

Fall Play Chair- Help coordinate various aspects of the fall play (costumes, hair, makeup, lobby decor, props, cast dinners).

Fall Play Volunteer- Help the Chair with various aspects of the fall play. See above.

Pep Band Volunteer- Help organize snacks and dinners (home games) only.

Senior Awards Dinner (June) Volunteer- Help with organization of the senior dinner and other aspects of the event.

Spring Musical Chair- Help coordinate various aspects of the spring musical (costumes, hair, makeup, lobby decor, props, cast dinners).

Spring Musical Volunteer- Help the Chair with aspects of the spring musical. See above.

Music Marathon Volunteer (February)- Assist with coordinating the event where music (all music and small ensembles) and theater groups perform.

50/50 Raffle Sales- Help sell tickets at JCHS music concerts and events.

Cabaret Volunteer (June)- Assist with coordinating the cabaret.

Publicity Volunteer- Assist the publicity chair with adequate publicity for the club's activities

Band Liaison- Help coordinate activities/events for the JCHS Band/clubs

Orchestra Liaison- Help coordinate activities/events for the JCHS orchestra/clubs

Chorus Liaison- Help coordinate activities/events for the JCHS Chorus/clubs

Spirit Wear Coordinator- Help organize spirit wear for music programs

Restaurant Fundraisers- Help organize fundraisers at various restaurants

Fundraising Volunteers- Help with various fundraisers throughout the year. You DO NOT need to volunteer for all fundraisers if you choose this option (selling concessions at events, new fundraisers).Note-- if you have any ideas, let us know.

GCMS Parent Liaison- Attend Music and More monthly meetings or provide report/coordinate with board, music/performing arts teachers and GCMS parent volunteers

GCMS Volunteer- Liaison will reach with volunteer opportunities as they arise (selling spirit wear, selling 50/50s at performances)

GCMS Play Chair- Help coordinate various aspects of the play (costumes, hair, makeup, lobby decor, props, cast party).
