Welcome to Berserker Farms! We are a small regenerative farm that prides itself on producing humanely raised and nutrient dense meats.  We offer our customers grass fed & grass finished beef, pastured raised chicken and eggs from free run chickens. We are an antibiotic and chemical free farm with a conscience. We believe that health is determined by not just the food we eat, but how it is farmed.  
We offer free delivery to pick-up locations in Kamsack, Yorkton, Preeceville, Canora and Regina. We are very close to the Manitoba border and encourage our Swan River customers to pick up at the farm.
All customer's are also welcome to come pick up their order's on the farm, we'd love to give you a tour!

Our farm is located in the RM of Livingston, SK. We believe that optimal health is each person’s birthright and is made possible through our food. Our journey evolved from city dwellers, to homesteaders to first generation farmers. We believe in farming the way nature intended - a reciprocal relationship that allows us to be stewards of the land and its animals. We operate our farm using sustainable practices, such as rotational grazing that builds the health and vitality of the soil. Farming has given us a deep respect and appreciation for where our food comes from and how it is raised.

Below you will find our order form for 2022 pastured raised chicken and grass finished beef, as well as opportunities to sign up to be notified when other farm products come available.

We use custom made "chicken tractors" that are outdoor portable chicken runs that house our chickens and keep them safe while on pasture. Moved daily onto fresh grass, these birds receive fresh air, exercise, sunshine, and all the local grain they want. By having these birds on pasture, they get a more natural diet by foraging for grass and bugs. Not only does this improve the health and flavour of the chicken, but also increases our pasture and farm health. Pastured chicken has a much higher ratio of omega 3's to omega 6's which is vital to our health and well being. The flavour of pastured chicken is superior to store bought chicken that is raised indoors and in confinement. We NEVER give our birds medicated feed or antibiotics.
Chickens are sold whole and frozen.

Delivery to pick-up locations is free for Yorkton, Kamsack, Preeceville, Canora and Regina on specified dates. We will contact you with pick up locations for each area closer to delivery days. We will contact you the week before your order is ready to confirm delivery or pick up plans. Full payment is due on receipt of your chickens; please bring coolers with ice packs to keep them frozen.

SIZE INFORMATION: Our birds finish around 5-7lbs dressed weight. If you have a size preference please let us know - We do our best to fill requests for specific sizes in the order that they are received.

We have a small herd of dexter and highland cattle that we grass feed and finish to produce the highest quality beef for our customers. Our cattle are rotationally grazed on our pastures in the spring and summer and fed alfalfa hay in the winter. This practice keeps the beef naturally high in omega 3 fatty acids that are crucial for good health. Meat from grass-fed animals has two to four times more omega-3 fatty acids than meat from grain- fed animals. Our cattle are raised on chemical-free rotational pasture without antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones. We provide them with alfalfa/timothy hay, fresh grass in the summer and natural mineral with garlic for natural fly control and kelp which is amazing for longevity, fertility and immunity. In the hardest winters, they receive organic alfalfa pellets to provide a little extra energy.  Dexters and Highland cattle are smaller in stature than your average commercial cattle breed and so not only do they finish smaller, the cuts of meat are smaller –particularly the steaks. Both breeds mature more slowly than commercial breeds ~they are butchered at 20-24mos and aged for a minimum of 20 days prior to cut & wrap. Our beef is butchered in spring and in fall when the cows are coming off fresh grass. This is when the meat is highest in Omega 3 and CLA and is the healthiest and tastiest!

By the whole or side - Whole Dexter/Highland beefs weigh in around 400-500 pounds compared to conventional production breeds which weigh in around 800-1000lbs for a whole. A side weighs averages 250lbs – so if you usually share a beef or a side with someone, you may find that a whole or side is the perfect size for you.
