Leading Off-Campus Student Application

Applicant Notification:  All applicants will be notified of the Selection Committee's decision by May 25.


The Leading Off-Campus Collegiate initiative provides experiences and connections in the Lynchburg region to build your professional skills and help you with career readiness. By participating in this program, you will receive networking opportunities and explore parts of the Lynchburg region and businesses in the region. Additionally, you will connect and work with students from other colleges and make many new connections with leaders from different industry sectors.

Leading Off- Campus Requirements
  • Successful completion of this program is contingent of your ability to fully participate in all scheduled sessions.  You may miss no more than one full session or the equivalent amount of hours. 
  • This program is "in person" not virtual.   You are responsible for transportation to the sessions.  
  • 1/2 of the tuition $400 is due acceptance of program and receipt of invoice.  Remaining tuition may be paid by June 30. Talk to your college career services center or your internship coordinator about covering all or a portion of your tuition.
  • If employed currently or interning currently with a regional employer,  you have obtained permission to participate in all scheduled sessions. 
  • You are responsible for your own transportation to and from sessions.   All location details for each session will be provided a few days prior to each session.
