Summer Research Laboratory (SRL) participants are encouraged to sign up for a General Orientation session. This session is designed to provide an overview of the library's resources and demonstrate the process of accessing and navigating the library's website, online catalogs, and research databases. General orientation sessions will be conducted through Zoom.
In-person participants of the 2023 Summer Research Laboratory (SRL) are also encouraged to sign up for an in-person tour of the Main Library. In-person tours are conducted thirty minutes after the conclusion of our Zoom-facilitated General Orientation sessions and begin at the SRS' office, which is located in Room 317 in the International and Area Studies Library; however, in the event that attendance within that window of time is not possible, participants can request a time that best suits their needs. It is recommended that participants secure access to their Courtesy Card (which can be acquired at Central Access Services in the Main Library) before attending the tour.
