- $10/month for a food waste drop-off program. You can enroll in autopay by following this link.
- Prepay $88 for 6 months drop-off, including the $30 Registration fee.
- Prepay $145 for 12 months drop-off including the $30 registration fee.

About Drop-Off Sheds:
We have installed a drop-off shed at The LEAP Hub at 1027 Patterson Ave SW. We will be installing a shed at Our Lady Nazareth Church at 2505 Electric Rd. by the end of January. We are setting a tote to drop-off in at the new Blue Ridge hydroponics store at 1931 Apperson Dr. in Salem on Feburary 2. We are seeking more locations for sheds in the area and will open more as we are able.
About Curbside Program:
Curbside Pick-Up is limited to the neighborhoods of Raleigh Court, Grandin Court, Wasena, Old Southwest, South Roanoke, Franklin Colonial, Greater Deyerle, Preston Park, Williamson Rd., Hollins, and Roundhill.
If you sign-up, we will deliver you a bucket on the following Tuesday while we are doing our curbside pick-up route. Our most preferred method of payment is pre-pay with check in person when we drop-off the bucket. We also have venmo - @starcitycompost, as well as paypal, and an electronic credit card reader for one-time payments.
