- Established record or articulated commitment to exploring Cultural Equity
- Adds to the group's diversity, including: race, ethnicity, SOGI (http://www.transstudent.org/gender/), ability, class, perspective, education, expertise, etc.
- Interest in both learning/teaching in community with diverse perspectives and with experience working collaboratively (respects constructive dissent)
- Commitment to personal, professional, and/or industry growth/improvement
