Ted Corbitt 2019 Centennial tribute medal
This year Ted Corbitt would have been 100 years old!  In celebration, for the 4th consecutive year, Black Men Run New York City (The NYC Way) is honoring long-distance racing pioneer Ted Corbitt with an exclusive medal. Order it today and celebrate Ted's life by participating in the 2019 NYRR Ted Corbitt 15K on December 7 (https://www.nyrr.org/races/nyrrtedcorbitt15k - already sold out) or in a virtual 15K (see details below on how to run that distance on your own).

Fill out the form below to order your own medal.  This is a limited edition medal, so order early.

This medal is open to runners of all levels open to honoring Ted Corbitt's life and legacy.  You must register and run the race in order to get this special medal OR run a virtual 15K race, which is limited to only 35 people.

The race day medal will be distributed at the NYC Way designated area following the 15K race.

Virtual medals will be mailed out within 2-4 weeks of receipt of proof of your running a 15K.  That 9.3 miles can be split up anytime (or all in one day!) between December 6th and 13th.  Proof includes a screenshot or picture of your timed run sent to blkmenrunnyc@gmail.com.

We are not affiliated with New York Road Runners and are doing this out of gratitude for Ted Corbitt and his legacy, as well as to the keeper of his legacy, Ted's son Gary Corbitt.
