Eco stabling - Parked trains energy management
Questionnaire preparing the Eco stabling best practice workshop on 29 or 30 June 2022.

Introduction:

Within the current energy price increase context, UIC and the UIC Energy and CO2 emissions Sector chairpersons propose a new online workshop about Eco stabling best practices: how to reduce energy consumption of parked trains.
The aim is to explore what are the best strategies and actions to achieve the minimum energy consumption for trains when parking.

This is a preliminary questionnaire that will help understand what aspects should be focused onto and organise the workshop.

Definition:

Eco stabling consists of reducing parked trains' energy consumption and thus reducing their emissions for example by closing doors, turning off lights, heating/cooling and/or engines, etc...

Note: Only contributors will be able to see other's answers (not anonymous but results shared only with contributors)
