Operation Hood Adoption Application
Thank you for taking the time to submit an application to adopt a cat from Operation Hood, you will not only provide a cat a loving home, but will open up a space so we can bring in another cat who is in need of immediate care to find a forever home. All adoptions require the completion of an adoption application. All cats adopted through Operation Hood have been or will be (depending on age) spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and receive FeLV/FIV tests, rabies vaccination, de-wormer, and flea & tick treatment. No cats will be adopted out until they are deemed healthy by the vet.

Adoption fees are as follows and covers the cost of vetting prior to adoption.  
Under 6 months – $150.00
6 months to 1 year – $100.00
Over 1 year – $75.00

Home visits are where we bring the cat to a potential adopters home for a meet and greet. We do not inspect homes we simply do home visits to have the opportunity to answer in person questions regarding the cat you are interested in adopting and to provide helpful tips regarding the transition into new placement. At the time of the home visit we will go over an adoption contract with the  potential adopter and the cat will remain in it's forever home after the contract is signed. **Due to Covid-19 and to follow the CDC's recommendation to practice social distancing we will set up a time to speak to potential adopters on the phone.

Life brings a lot of change and along with that comes the responsibility we have to our pets. Operation Hood feels it is important to stress the life long commitment that comes with adopting any pet.
