Title II Improving Teacher Quality Survey

In order to meet the requirements for the Title II federal grant funds which are designed to improve the quality of teachers in our schools, we are required to survey parents, teachers, and administrators about opportunities for professional growth and development which would be most beneficial to our teachers.

Funding to attend conferences sponsored by the Department of Public Instruction in content areas (math, English, science, social studies, technology, etc.)

Funding to attend conferences suponsored by the Department of Public Instruction related to issues regarding exceptional children

Funding for teachers to take PRAXIS II exams to become highly qualified

Funding for teachers to purchase materials from the Educational Testing Services to prepare to take PRAXIS II exams

Funding for teachers to attend PRAXIS II preparation workshops

Funding for teachers to attend nationally recognized programming related to exceptional children

Funding for teachers to take courses at colleges/universities which would lead to highly qualified licensure

Professional development on twenty-first century technology to be used in the classroom

Professional development related to Individualized Education Programs (IEP's)
