2024-2025 BMES E-Board Candidate Form
Would you like to have a seat on the BMES E-Board for the 2024-2025 school year? Have event ideas that you'd like to put in motion?

Using this form, please indicate the position you will be running for and describe why you would like to join the BMES E-Board. During the elections, each candidate will give a 2-3 minute speech about why you would like to be on the E-Board. If you are not elected for your position, you can still run for class representative.  

Anyone from any major or graduation year can run for E-Board positions.  The following are some of the expectations for each role:
  • President: Plans meetings, arranges collaborations, sends out information to students, communicates with Club Advisor, coordinates with E-Board members, oversees budget documentation, proposal documentation, note-taking, minutes taking, etc.
  • Vice President: Helps the President with the above, ensures that everything is running smoothly, helps to spread information about club meetings, joins the President during introductions to the club, helps to run events/lead events, helps with collaborations for the club, etc.
  • Secretary: Note-taking and minute-taking during every meeting, helps to draft the documentation for the event proposals, keeps the running list of emails, collects emails, helps in the online communication with the club, helps with flyer advertisements of club meetings, etc.
  • Treasurer: Keeps a running spreadsheet for the budget, fundraising, and anything that needs to be reimbursed, files reimbursement forms, attends budget meetings with student life and USG, maintains we stay within a budget,  helps create the budget proposal, etc.
  • Social Media Chair: Manages all social media platforms for BMES (Instagram, Discord, etc.), creates and distributes flyers for events/ opportunities on Canva, work with Class Reps to spread information
  • Event Coordinator: Plans and carries out events, oversees tasks/ set-up, maintain communication with collaborators/ vendors
  • Class Representative: Distributes information about events to classmates, helps in the organization of events, helps to create flyers for events, helps to spread information about extracurricular opportunities to classmates, etc.

Elections will be held on MONDAY APRIL 15th @ 8PM (Virtual Meeting).
