St. Louis Foodshed Landowners Survey
WHAT: The St. Louis Food Policy Coalition (STLFPC) and our partners hope to capture the local need for growers and growing partnerships (urban, suburban, and rural) in the St. Louis Foodshed (150 miles radius from St. Louis) from local landowners through an ongoing needs assessment. WHO: If you are a local landowner and are interested in lending, leasing, or selling your land to grow food by collaborating and/or partnering with a local grower, please take 5 min to fill out this survey! Please also share this survey with any local landowners you know who might also be interested.

WHY: The nation’s young and beginning farmers face tremendous barriers in starting farming careers with land access being at the top. With this survey, we aim to illustrate the need for farmland from local growers in the region in order to establish equitable and supportive avenues for local growers to partner with local landowners to grow food as well as access land ownership to empower our most disinvested communities through food justice.

PLEASE NOTE: By participating in this survey, your responses including your name and contact information will be shared within a curated google map so other interested growers and landowners can connect with you. This map and communication platform can be found through our STL Grower & Landowner facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/2368767226724213/. The more specific you are, the more information we can provide to help facilitate your collaboration and partnerships with other local growers and landowners.
