The Adoption Process Includes:
1)  Phone Interview
2)  Home Visit (Virtual)
3)  Reference Checks, including veterinary and personal
4)  Approve Application
5) Meet & Greet with dog

Current Adoption Fees:
Puppy $750.00 plus a $125.00 refundable deposit upon proof of completed spay/neuter. (If puppy is spayed/neutered then fee is $875)
Adult Dog $875.00
Senior $675

By applying for a dog with Halfway Home K9 Rescue you agree to the following:
I understand that Halfway Home K9 is a registered not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing and re-homing dogs in need and that any misrepresentation of the above information is just cause to deny my application, and/or reclaim the dog that is in my home. *
I acknowledge that every dog is an individual and Halfway Home K9 cannot guarantee against parasites, diseases and/or behavioural issues. Once adopted, the dog becomes my sole responsibility and I agree that I will not hold Halfway Home K9 responsible, nor seek any compensation for damages, medical fees or other liabilities incurred by the dog I adopt. *
I understand that the move to a new home can be a stressful experience for even the most well-adjusted dog. I am prepared for an adjustment period ranging from several weeks to several months. I also understand that is it not unusual for a dog to regress in behavior or develop new unwanted behaviours during the first few weeks of the transition and that I am expected to take FULL OWNERSHIP for consulting with a qualified animal behaviourist in an effort to correct and mitigate the unwanted behaviours.
