Katy Taylor Tournament - Judge Contact Form (2023)
Dates: Nov. 9-11, 2023.  Payment is up to $275 for judges who can cover the full three day tournament.  If unable to judge the full tournament, partial contracts may be awarded depending on availability and experience. We will pay $75 for each day of virtual debate, for a total of $225 for a full debate contract.  We will pay $125 for a Saturday-only in-person Individual Events contract.  Individuals who judge Thursday/Friday virtual debate AND come in-person on Saturday can earn up to $275.

The Tournament is a HYBRID Tournament.  Debate events will be virtual hosted on NSDA Campus.  Speech Events will be in person on Saturday at Taylor High School.

Please complete the KISD Paperwork.  In order to be paid, you must 1) be a Katy ISD vendor. (You can apply as vendor and fill out the information here: https://tyselfserv.katyisd.org/vss/Vendors/default.aspx   and  2) then complete the forms found here: https://tinyurl.com/mtm7b6ja 

Please fill them out and return them to us at MerryGHollis@katyisd.org.  BOTH steps MUST be completed to pay you for judging.

Please note:  If you have received a check from Katy ISD (not the Seven Lakes Booster Club) for judging at a prior tournament in Katy ISD, you do not need to register again as a vendor.

Please look at the tournament schedule on Tabroom.  Full-time judges would be available at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and be available for live  judging  through final round that evening.  Saturday would begin at 9:00 a.m. and stay through elims until released.
