There will be an opportunity to present posters either online or at our live venue. Outstanding submissions will be considered for oral presentation. Please see the guidelines below for more details.

Guidelines for submission
Topic:
Widening Participation in Medicine

Guidelines:
Submissions may be of any work that addresses the above topic done by either undergraduates or postgraduates.
The abstract should be no longer than 300 words (excluding title, authors, headings and referencing).
The abstract should include the headings: BACKGROUND, METHOD, RESULTS and CONCLUSION.
All references should be in Harvard referencing style.
A maximum of 6 authors are allowed per submission.
All submissions are final. No amendments will be permitted to your abstract after it has been submitted.
For all accepted work, we require that a minimum of one author must attend the conference and be a registered member of WPMN to receive a certificate.
•      Submissions invited for e-poster/poster presentations may attend either the online event or the live event. Submissions invited for oral presentation must attend the live event in person.

Assessors will judge abstracts on the following criteria:
Originality of work.
Validity of the research design or innovation/development.
Measurement of impact as evidenced by the inclusion of data.
•      Work in progress will also be considered but results will be a main aspect of the scoring process.
Applicability of results to real world changes and innovation/development.
Design of poster and quality of oral presentation.

Deadlines:
•      June 30th 2022 @ 23:59 - Abstract Submission.
•      July 5th 2022 @ 23:59 - Poster due for accepted submissions.
