RESEARCH FOR TEACHERS AND TRAINERS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND IDENTIFY THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF GIFTED STUDENTS

It is important to recognize that gifted and talented students are individuals with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Adolescents may be gifted in some areas but are included in the register of special educational needs because of behavioral, social, physical/sensory or specific learning difficulties.

A gifted child is one who is naturally endowed with a high level of general intellectual ability or exceptional ability in a particular area of activity or knowledge. The designation gifted is largely a matter of administrative convenience.

However, schools are increasingly using multiple aptitude measures and assessing a variety of talents, including verbal, mathematical, visual-spatial, musical and interpersonal skills.

The consortium of the "IT for HP" KA220 Strategic Partnership project would like to ask you to devote some of your time to completing this questionnaire. This is part of the research phase of the project, which aims to develop training resources for teachers in dealing with gifted and gifted students. The purpose of the survey is to identify your training needs and any need for further training on this topic. Therefore, your opinion and feedback are very important for collecting reliable and up-to-date data.

Estimated time to complete the questionnaire: 10 minutes

Thank you in advance for completing the questionnaire.
