Το PLAYGROUND for the arts με μεγάλη χαρά και τιμή υποδέχεται την διακεκριμμένη Ισπανίδα χορεύτρια/χορογράφο φλαμένκο, Rafaela Carrasco [Ραφαέλα Καράσκο], εξέχουσα φιγούρα φλαμένκο, και ερευνήτρια χορού με ιδιαίτερο όραμα. Η ιδιαίτερη, προσωπική της αντίληψη για τον χορό, είναι σχολαστικά φτιαγμένη από ηρεμία και εννοιολογική ζεστασιά, και σχεδιασμένη για χορευτική ομάδα σε καλλιτεχνική αρμονία και ισορροπία με τον σκηνικό χώρο. Για να το κάνει αυτό, έχει απορροφήσει γνώσεις από άλλους κλάδους του χορού, χωρίς να εγκαταλείψει τις ρίζες της στο φλαμένκο, κάνοντας ένα πολύ προσωπικό ταξίδι στην εμπειρία και την έκφραση του χορού.
Εξαιρετική δασκάλα με πολύχρονη εμπειρία σε σημαντικές σχολές, όπως η Amor de Dios στη Μαδρίτη, το Flamenco Center for Performing Studies στη Γρανάδα ή το Festival de Jerez, διδάσκει εργαστήρια διεθνώς και μαθήματα μεθοδολογίας και διδακτικής φλαμένκο στο Ανώτερο Ωδείο Χορού «María de Ávila» της Μαδρίτης.

PLAYGROUND for the arts is very pleased and honored to welcome the distinguished Spanish flamenco dancer/choreographer, Rafaela Carrasco, a prominent flamenco figure, and a dance researcher with a special vision. Her particular, personal perception of dance is meticulously crafted from calmness and conceptual warmth, and designed for a dance group in artistic harmony and balance with the stage space. To do this, she has absorbed knowledge from other disciplines of dance, without abandoning her flamenco roots, taking a very personal journey into the experience and expression of dance.
An excellent teacher with many years of experience in important schools such as Amor de Dios in Madrid, the Flamenco Center for Performing Studies in Granada or the Festival de Jerez, she teaches workshops internationally and courses in flamenco methodology and pedagogy at the María de Ávila Superior Dance Conservatory of Madrid. She was artistic director of the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía from 2013 to 2016].
