#HadABadDay Social Media Campaign
The Consortium of Asian American Theaters and Artists invites you to contribute your stories about pandemic incidents of anti-Asian discrimination, harassment, or violence as part of our #HadABadDay social media campaign. By sharing our real experiences during the pandemic, we want to counter the Cherokee County, Atlanta, Georgia Sheriff's Department message that the alleged perpetrator in the Atlanta massacre was merely "having a bad day".

We honor and uplift the beautiful lives of Delaina Ashley Yaun, Paul Andre Michels, Xiaojie Tan, Daoyou Feng, Soon Chung Park, Hyun JungGrant, Sun Cha Kim, Yong Ae Yue, and their loved ones, as well as the experiences of so many API elders and community members who have been subjected to anti-Asian xenophobia and violence during the pandemic.

We will be sharing your stories during a social media take over from 12N to 1PM ET, Tuesday, March 23, as well as over the next couple of weeks.

We recognize that sharing your story may be triggering for you and may even be potentially unsafe. Please only contribute to the extent you feel comfortable or safe doing so. Thank you in advance for sharing your story. For questions and concerns, please contact Ariel Estrada, CAATA Marketing & Membership Director at ariel@caata.net.
