SARNET was formed in 2020 with support from USAID to provide a platform to exchange information, research, and experiences on rainwater harvesting to mitigate the effects of climate change.

During the span of one-year SARNET has been able to organise and host 09 webinars regarding a range of topics, launched the website and social media platforms and a 02 day virtual conference and contributing a statement to COP 26.

The aim of the proposed network is to provide a platform and an opportunitty for young enthusiasts and water sector professionals to share their recent research and learning expereinces related to rainwater harvesting and lobbying activities.
