Buddies for All research questionnaire.
At Buddies for All we recognise the effect that the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown has had on disabled people's lives such as its disabled founder David Bourroughs. Piloting in the London borough of Lewisham and surrounding areas, with plans to expand across London, we want to design a service which reflects disabled people's needs and interests, as well as reaching people who need support with their mental health.
Our aim, therefore, is to match a disabled person or someone experiencing challenges around their mental health, with a volunteer buddy. We want to provide personalised and tailored telephone, online and in person support, thereby helping our target audience reach their potential. Telephone and online support will be rolled out nationally working in conjunction with in person support offered locally.
If you are a disabled person, a friend or family member, someone who supports a disabled person, or someone who needs support with their mental health, this survey is for you. The answers you provide and the data we collect will be anonymised and only used to help us develop our service. Please help us today by answering as many questions as you can below so we can offer the support of a volunteer buddy to disabled people in the future.
