Proposal Form - Undergraduate Research Webinar Series
The CARLI Program Planning Committee is seeking presenters for a series of webinars in Spring 2021 focused on academic library support of undergraduate research. The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) defines undergraduate research as “an inquiry or investigation conducted by an undergraduate student that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the disciplines” (2020*) Undergraduate research has grown over the past decade across the disciplines into a sought-after experience to demonstrate intellectual or artistic achievement in a student’s chosen field.

We are looking for a variety of topics, including but not limited to: information literacy programming, collections support, incorporating DEI into undergraduate research support, outreach to undergraduate researchers or faculty advisors, collaboration with faculty, departments, or undergraduate research offices/committees, publishing, copyright, dissemination and/or preservation of undergraduate research products, or other services dedicated to undergraduate researchers. Presentations will be 30 minutes long, including time for questions.

Interested presenters (either individuals or groups) should submit an approximately 100-word description of their presentation.
