Math preparation is one of the strongest predictors of success at New Mexico Tech and none know this better than our own graduates. In 2016, a generous gift was presented by a fellow Tech Alum who felt that students who are dedicated to, and already taking responsibility for, their current and future academic success should be encouraged and supported. The Summer Math Success Scholarship was established to provide early and significant support to these students. The Summer Math Success Scholarship is a financial scholarship that is awarded to incoming students who are currently placed in Trigonometry (MATH 1230), or Pre-Calculus (MATH 1240).

The scholarship is applied to the cost of one New Mexico Tech summer distance education math course to help bridge the gap between these courses and Calculus I (Math 1510).

This is a competitive scholarship and scholarships are limited
