The DJ agrees to play recorded materials from the start time listed above to the end time. If the DJ is requested and/or forced to extend the time limit of his performance, a higher fee will be added, which is $175 per hour, payable before the extended time begins.

Payment Terms:
Client shall pay the DJ the amount outlined as “DJ’s Fee” in exchange for said number of hours of service. A deposit of 50% of the DJ Fee must be paid to the DJ upon signing of this contract. *The deposit is only refunded if DJ cancels: see below.

Deposits and Confirmation:
• DJ is not confirmed for the event until this signed agreement and the outlined deposit has been received and check has been deposited and has cleared. Deposit payment must accompany this signed contract.

Cancellations:
A cancellation will not be accepted within fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the event. If the event is cancelled within this window of time the client is responsible to pay the DJ the balance due. Once the DJ arrives at the venue, then by the terms agreed upon in this contract, the DJ will perform services at the event. DJ will not be held responsible for the inability to perform for the following reasons:
• Police or government official closing down location of event
• Location/Promoter losing license or otherwise rendering the facility inoperable
• Improperly equipped facility (i.e., loss of electricity)
• Fire, War, or Act of God

Rescheduling:
Events can be rescheduled once prior to 60 days before the date for free. All subsequent reschedules will incur a $195 rebooking fee. Any reschedule request within 60 days of the event will incur a $250 rebooking fee. If the venue is forced to be temporarily closed due to local mandates or catastrophe rescheduling will not incur any charges.

*If the DJ must cancel for any other reason than those mentioned above, then the DJ shall refund 100% of the fee.

NOTE: If this is a “Rain or Shine” event, DJ compensation is in no way affected by inclement weather. For outdoor performances, Client shall provide overhead shelter for setup area. The DJ reserves the right, in good faith, to stop or cancel the performance should the weather pose a potential danger to him, the equipment, or audience. Every effort will be made to continue the performance. However, safety is paramount in all decisions. The DJ's compensation will not be affected by such cancellation.

Equipment Requirements:
The event site shall provide the DJ with the following equipment in good working order:
• Two 120 volt power receptacles.
• The venue is responsible for obtaining any required music performance licenses
• A banquet table and one chair ( DJ can provide a table if necessary)
• Sufficient space for placement of speakers
