ProtectEdMB is a grassroots organization of teachers and community members, advocating for strong, sustainable, and well-funded public education in Manitoba. Protect our K-12 schools and public education system by opposing:

             * Bill 64 - The Education Modernization Act
             * Regressive anti-democratic education reform
             * Attacks on students & marginalized communities

The current fight is aimed at stopping Bill 64, which is harmful to students, educators, and the community at-large. As such, we invite all teachers, school staff, parents, as well as other community members to join us:

            * To resist the politicization and privatization of public education through Bill 64
            * To maintain democratic education policies and keep our local school boards
            * To demand equitable access to public education: by addressing child poverty
               and rural/urban disparities; by defending nutrition programs for children;
               by using fair non-standardized assessments; by supporting Indigenous language,
               French Immersion, and essential locally developed programs.
