BLOOM365' Summer Peer Advocate Academy is tailored for teens, AGES 13-19, who are passionate about preventing Domestic/Sexual/ Teen Dating Violence. Facilitated by Trained Peer Advocates, the Academy is delivered in association with the NOVA 46th Annual Training Event, Hope in Action. By the end of the week Gen Z Peer Advocates will have gained new advocacy skills, formed friendships, learned from diverse perspectives and gathered the tools and resources needed to start a Peer Advocate Crew to remove the barriers to safety, help, healing and hope for teens. #UprootAbuse in a generation!

NEEDS BASED SCHOLARSHIP
THE $150 PEER ADVOCATE ACADEMY REGISTRATION FEE DONATION HELPS TO FUND THE STAFF AND TECH REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A HIGH IMPACT TRAINING EXPERIENCE FOR TEENS.

HOWEVER, WE DO NOT WANT THIS FEE TO DETER PASSIONATE TEENS WHO WANT TO BE PART OF OUR MOVEMENT TO UPROOT ABUSE FROM ATTENDING. SO, WE ARE OFFERING FULL AND PARTIAL NEEDS BASED SCHOLARSHIPS.
The Academy EDUCATES and ACTIVATES teens, ages 13-29, as PEER ADVOCATES who establish Peer Advocate Crews on their high school or college campus, as well as amplify Peer Support online.  PAC's work together to provide peer support to young survivors of abuse and to raise awareness to #UprootAbuse in a generation. Please share in a few sentences why you want to attend the Peer Advocate Academy and your vision for starting a PAC in your area. *
ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO ATTEND THE ENTIRE ACADEMY? The morning (8am-9:30 am PST) and afternoon (2pm-3:30pm) virtual sessions run from June 20-30, 2020. *
