WYC 2024 Registration (3rd-8th)
Welcome and thank you for your interest in joining Westview Youth Cheerleading 2024 Season!  We are excited to have you and your family join for the upcoming season. 

Registration fees: 
Ice (3rd-5th) & Fire (6th-8th)- $250

Registration is open March 1, 2024 to June 1, 2024. 

Practice Information:
Location: TBA 
August 19th- October 24th (unless the team makes play offs)
Mondays & Wednesdays:
6:00pm-8:00pm

Games usually begin mid September and will take place on Saturdays, schedules will be sent as soon as we get them from the football teams

There will be a MANDATORY fitting day in early June, all that register must be able to attend in order to be fitted for uniforms and gear for the Fall 2024 Season. This will be an additional cost to the participants up to $400 (required items only) for new cheerleaders to the team (for those returning, you may not need every item so cost will be less). 

Fundraising opportunities will be available and will offered throughout the year. We do expect our participants to help with our league fundraisers, the individual fundraisers are optional to the families and if they choose to participate. Individual fundraising raised, the profit will go into your families WYC account.

Volunteering: We do ask that parents at WYC events. 

Registration is not finalized until the registration fee is paid in full.

Please keep in mind, cheerleading is a commitment sport and we do require cheerleaders to be at every practice and game. We do understand that emergencies happen, but do keep this in mind before committing when planning personal events. 

Parents and Athletes (3rd-8th grade) will have a Athlete Agreement to be signed in understanding of our rules and expectations of the season.

-Fitting night (Mandatory): June 3-5th (you will get an email on your specific date based on new/returning cheerleaders)

**Cheer Camp**

Pixies & Ice (K-5th): 4:30pm-6:30pm
Fire (6th-8th): 6:00pm-8:00pm

August 10th (Saturday)
Ice (3rd-5th): 9:00am-11:00am
Fire (6th-8th): 10:30am-12:30pm

**Seasonal Tumbling**
If you are registered, those 3rd-8th grade have the opportunity provided by WHS Cheer team for tumbling sessions. Coaches highly encourage the team to participate. 
Generally:
Cost: $180 +/-

(Information will be released as each season of tumbling comes around)

**Training with Kenny!**
STARTING NOW, MARCH 2024 (you can register on a monthly basis)
Strength Training If you are registered, those 3rd-8th grade have the opportunity in sessions with Kenny! You can choose once or twice a week sessions.

Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm

Month-to-Month Base. 
$50/once a week
$75/twice a week

We will have 3 separate cheer teams, cheering for 3 different football teams this season. Please plan and prepare accordingly if you have multiple children registering.
