Tahquitz District’s “Of the Year” Awards are presented to individuals who exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in Scouting as well as in everyday life. This is the person who goes above and beyond in helping others and shows
what Scouting is all about.

Note: Every scout deserves a trained leader. Being trained for their position is a critical factor in consideration for a district award and adult awards will not be given if the person is not position-trained.

Start early and make sure your nomination is submitted before the nomination period closes in December 12th. By doing so, you ensure that if your nominee receives an award, they can attend the recognition event, and invite others to attend.

Recipients of these awards will be recognized at the Annual Tahquitz District Volunteer Recognition Event scheduled for January 23rd.
